Academic Credit
Students are required to take the equivalent of 15 CSU units per semester, in addition to the 6 unit Preparatory Language Program (PLP).

Cost
Students pay the same tuition for Germany: Music at Trossingen University of Music as the tuition paid for their home CSU campus. For more information on costs, including accommodations, travel and other expenses, see the Budget Estimates above.
Program Dates
CSU IP students spend an Academic Year abroad on this program. The traditional German academic cycle begins in early August to July.

PROGRAM OVERVIEW
The Germany: Universities of Baden-Württemberg program is associated with the State of Baden-Württemberg, which is in southwest Germany and is home to world-renowned universities. The CSU IP program is coordinated by a CSU on-site staff member and the Office of International Relations at the University of Tübingen. Students from every major are encouraged to participate, as a wide variety of educational opportunities are offered.
All students participate in a Preparatory Language Program (PLP) before the fall semester begins. PLP courses offer instruction in German grammar, reading, writing and conversation and often include cultural excursions. The location of the PLP is dependent upon the student’s academic year placement. Most PLP programs are 4 weeks in length. After the PLP, students move to their university placement.
Germany: Universities of Baden-Württemberg participants have the opportunity to study at universities in the State of Baden- Württemberg. Students select their top three choices of universities when completing the CSU IP application. LOCATION
State of Baden-Württemberg, which is in southwest Germany and is home to world-renowned universities. It is the third largest state in the Federal Republic of Germany and one of the most economically powerful, with a focus on research and development.
HOUSING
Housing is coordinated by CSU IP staff in Germany. Students typically live in dormitories and will be notified of their dorm options when their host university has been assigned.
