Must be an architecture major from Cal Poly SLO or Cal Poly Pomona. 
Students are responsible for verifying that they meet individual course pre-requisites prior to registration with the overseas institution.

Students pay the same tuition for Denmark: Architecture at DIS as the tuition paid for their home CSU campus. For more information on costs, including accommodations, travel and other expenses, see the Budget Estimates at the top of the brochure page.

The Denmark: Architecture at DIS is coordinated by the Danish Institute for Study Abroad (DIS). Located in the heart of Copenhagen, DIS is a non-profit institution affiliated with the University of Copenhagen. DIS offers coursework in English to approximately 1,000 international students each year.
Students collaborating in the classroomThe Denmark: Architecture at DIS program includes studio, lecture and seminar courses on Scandinavian and Danish architecture. The program also provides students with an understanding of theory, aesthetics, methodology, and works of contemporary Scandinavian and European architects and designers. The program includes course-related study tours guided by faculty to western Denmark, Sweden, Finland, Germany, and Switzerland. The faculty are practicing Danish architects and designers, as well as faculty at the Royal Academy of Fine Arts, School of Architecture and Denmark’s Design School.

Students also choose elective courses from a wide variety of subjects including sustainability, urban studies, humanities, politics, etc. CSU students are required to study the Danish language both fall and spring semesters. Copenhagen is Denmark’s capital city and the country’s cultural, economic, and government center. It is also one of the major financial centers of Northern Europe.
