Erin studied abroad in Santiago, Chile during her junior year of college and earned a BA in Anthropology and International Studies with a Spanish minor from Northwestern University. After graduating, she worked for a nonprofit that facilitates cultural exchange programs, managing programs to support international high school students who studied in the U.S. for an exchange semester or year. Erin moved to California to attend the Middlebury Institute of International Studies at Monterey (MIIS), where she earned an M.A. in International Education Management and a Master of Public Administration (MPA). During her last semester at MIIS, she worked in Mexico City, Mexico and Buenos Aires, Argentina to facilitate study abroad programs onsite.
