PROGRAM OVERVIEW
The Germany: Business Honors at University of Mannheim program is affiliated with the University of Mannheim, a research university that boasts one of the top-rated business programs in Germany. CSU IP has an agreement with the State of Baden-Württemberg, which is in southwest Germany and is home to world-renowned universities, such as the University of Mannheim. The CSU IP program is administered by a Program Coordinator, based in Tübingen, who is available to students throughout the year.
This program is highly competitive and specifically designed for business majors. All students participate in a Preparatory Language Program (PLP) in Mannheim before the fall semester begins. PLP courses offer instruction in German grammar, reading, writing and conversation and often include cultural excursions. After the 4 week PLP, students begin their regular courses at the University of Mannheim. Courses at the university are taught in English, however CSU IP students are required to study the German language during both the fall and spring semesters.
For more information about the courses offered at the University of Mannheim, please refer to their website. For more information about the academic program, students may refer to the CSU IP Academic Bulletin. Note that course offerings are subject to change and may not be offered during the year of intended study.

In 2014, Forbes magazine named Mannheim as one of the “World’s Top 15 Most Inventive Cities.”
HOUSING
Housing is coordinated by CSU IP staff in Germany. For the PLP and the academic year, students will be housed in dormitories in Mannheim.
